Krasnar People’s Revolution

The Krasnar People’s Revolution was the September 528 AFK overthrow of King @Vlad IV and the beginning of Krasnarusian socialist rule. It produced the first socialist government in Uclean history, spread rapidly into Larolar and initiated the long ideological conflict between Krasnarus and Duchia.

Background

Krasnarus had experienced an industrial socialist transformation since around 400 AFK. Worker organisations, miners' societies and mutual-aid networks adopted older Mattrozhian solar symbolism, especially the Red Sun as the Little One standing before the Gold.

By 528, dissatisfaction with Vlad IV combined economic hardship, republican opposition and a politicised industrial working class.

September uprising

Revolutionary action spread across the country. Vlad IV was captured and beheaded. Republicans, including communists, fought Monarchist forces in the resulting civil war and won overwhelmingly.

Petrov period

War damage reduced living standards and strengthened left-populist demands for central direction. @Nikolas “Chenko” Petrov emerged as the first socialist ruler of Uclea. His government consolidated production and political authority, beginning the bureaucratic system that later critics accused of reproducing the hierarchy it had overthrown.

Regional consequences

Larolar's government quickly yielded to its own revolutionary movement and became a close Krasnarusian ally. Monarchies across the east treated the revolution as a direct threat. Duchia responded through containment, intervention and support for anti-socialist governments, eventually making Niakupubliczstan the principal proxy battlefield.
