Delta Armed Forces

The Delta Armed Forces (DAF) were the stateless military organisation created from Delta Security after Operation Arrowhead in 608 AFK. They became the dominant force of the final Forever War campaigns and the institutional core of the Omega Alliance.

Stateless army

DAF presented itself as an army larger than monarchs, borders and duplicated national commands. Soldiers and civilians could treat allegiance to Delta as allegiance to victory rather than to one state.

Doctrine and logistics

DAF combined motorised warfare, airland operations, standardised maintenance and central supply. “Route secure” described the condition that allowed fuel, armour, medicine and reinforcements to move continuously. Logistics was not a support branch but the decisive weapon.

Expansion

Operation Ballista established western bridgeheads and cost Tarralik his husband @Alexander. Operation Artillery captured the remaining organised Aelven territory in 622 AFK. Success gave DAF authority over most national armed forces.

Transformation

After the enemy collapsed, DAF did not demobilise. Its depots, rail priorities, communications and command networks became the machinery of Omega repression. Loyalist remnants survived Tarralik's death and fought in the Three-Way War.
