Form cults
Form cults were obscure Mortal Era religious movements that attempted to reach the Plane of Forms and practise True Magic. Their surviving traces are fragmentary, and it is impossible to determine whether those traces describe the original reality or a history already rewritten by successful cultists.
Practices
Form-cult practice combined runes, scrolls, divine intervention and rituals conducted across generations. Some cults created immutables: mortals preserved or entombed for thousands of years so they could survive the slow ascent toward the Plane of Forms. Those who allegedly arrived sought to copy, add, remove or alter Forms for dynastic, personal, religious or political advantage.
Disappearance
The cults eventually fell silent. Competing explanations hold that the @Creators stopped them, the route to the Plane failed, the cultists erased themselves, or the present world is the result of their final successful alteration. None can be tested from within the Kazean Realm because a complete alteration also changes the evidence available to investigators.
Possible legacies
Unusually precise features of Uclea—particularly its 360-sol year, 30-sol solar cycle and 36-sol lunar cycle—may be natural coincidences, deliberate work by Ūrkléan, or remnants of Form-cult engineering. The theory remains author-facing and should be used sparingly.
