Gelena Andreassen

Gelena Andreassen was the leader of the multi-people uprising against the Five Kings. Later traditions treat her as the founder of liberation from royal tyranny, although the surviving accounts disagree over her exact role in the final battle and the first violence of the Forever War.

Uprising

Gelena denounced the Kings for turning away from their peoples and from Ūrkléan. Her movement united humans, Aelven, Dvergr, Dires and Drywid against the Kings' Orcnea armies.

Ūrkléan's influence

Ūrkléan nudged Gelena because the Kings' institutions had become rigid and extractive. He did not foresee that destroying the order would allow Gwildor's curse to divide the allied army.

Legend

Gelena becomes mythical because the Fall is both foundational and distant. Revolutionary histories present a coherent leader and programme; oral traditions preserve confusion, civilian evacuation and competing priorities.
