The Imperial Core was the political centre of the Five Kings' order in the Old War Lands of the northern continent.

Noble Era

It contained Kingsmouth, the Castle of the Kings and the central institutions of the Stable Era. Corelanders developed strong traditions of counting, seals, military classification and administration.

Fall and diaspora

After 0 AFK the isolated Core became one of the earliest and worst killing grounds. Most inhabitants were slaughtered. Survivors became a diaspora whose administrative habits later shaped the Allied Crowns.

Memory

Modern states often invoke the Core as a lost civilisation while knowing little of its mixed population or final destruction.
