Allied Crowns

The Allied Crowns are the long-lived defence alliance and refugee administration founded at the Throat of Men. The name is conventional rather than literal: its early participants include monarchies, civic authorities, military remnants and mixed refugee communities.

Foundation

The first institutions count arrivals, assign labour, feed animals, distribute grain, repair roads and decide which armed groups defend which approaches. Corelanders contribute records and procedure; Dvergr engineering; Dires transport and coordination; numerous refugee peoples manpower, routes and crafts.

Symbol and ideology

The yellow star on dark blue begins as a navigational mark for caravans and becomes the alliance flag. Its modern slogan is “Together, we stand”; propaganda emphasises stability, endurance and survival through coordinated difference.

Military doctrine

The Crowns favour meticulous planning, entrenchment, artillery, stockpiles and nationally controlled forces. The system can sustain a front for centuries but reacts slowly and duplicates command, supply and equipment across states.

Late membership

Duchia leads the alliance, with Solerae, Maritimia and northern Niakupubliczstan as core members. Krasnarus and Larolar become observer or supporting states, Montaxi fights independently and the Nordic states (that being Naerstevikke and Lavnovia ) abstain.

Decline

Delta's victories make the alliance appear obsolete. Omega Alliance absorbs much of its military capacity. After Tarralik Frost's execution, restorationists revive the Yellow Star and interpret revolutionary violence as proof that only the old order can provide stability.
