Metrilburg

Metrilburg was an independent Dverg–Mankin city-state on the Green River, older than the Five Kings and famous for metals, magic and unconquered walls.

Refuge

After the Fall, refugees from @Umbroth, @Velstrum, @Mattrozhia and the Core gathered in and around the city through autumn and winter.

Fall

The camps grew beyond the walls. Guards were diverted to food, healing, counting and crowd control. During the thaw, Aelven forces stormed the camps and found the gates thinly held; Metrilburg fell within days.

Legacy

Its fall began the southern flight into the Dark Forest. Metrilburger refugees later became major founders of Duchia.
