Railways of the eastern continent
The railways of the eastern continent formed the principal civilian and military transport network of the late Forever War. They were nationally operated but internationally connected, producing a dense system of through routes, border inspections, incompatible procedures and military priorities.
Soleraean hub
Solerae's long central position made it unavoidable for traffic between Duchia, Krasnarus, Maritimia, Larolar and the eastern states. Its economy came to depend on raw materials, depots, workshops and transit fees, while Duchian ownership narrowed its practical sovereignty.
Passenger travel
Long-distance journeys commonly required sleeper trains, currency changes, inspections and transfers between state operators. Station names and timetables reflected national languages, while Soleraean hubs printed both lunar and solar dates.
Military logistics
The Allied Crowns organised rail around stockpiles and defensive fronts. Delta later centralised priorities, linked trains to motor columns and aircraft and treated the route as one continuous operational system.
Omega and collapse
Omega used the same network to allocate fuel, move prisoners and suppress dissent. After the Cataclysm, tracks and workshops survived more readily than the coordination required to operate them, leaving isolated locomotives, depots and rail settlements.
