Eastern continent
The eastern continent became the principal human-dominated landmass after the Great Exodus. By the late Forever War it contained Duchia, Niakupubliczstan, Lavnovia, Naerstevikke, Krasnarus, Solerae, Maritimia, Larolar, Montaxi and the hidden Dawn Dominion.
Settlement
The continent had no universally accepted name after the Exodus. Refugees called it @Sunmarch, Fenmark, @Mattrozhia, Metril, the Sanctuary Continent, the Promised Land or the Continent of Men. These names expressed claims of refuge, inheritance and human possession rather than stable geography.
Political geography
Modern borders emerged from refugee districts, military commands, inherited place names and transport routes. The result was not a set of ancient nations but a layered successor system. Solerae became the rail corridor, Duchia the economic core, Krasnarus the steel and arms centre, and Maritimia the exposed western military coast.
Other peoples
The description ‘human-dominated’ obscures old Dire and Dverg territories, Aelven settlements and the hidden mixed population of the Dawn Dominion. Modern maps frequently present later human control as timeless.
