Solerae

Solerae, formally the Kingdoms of the Sun, is a landlocked state of cold plains and desert stretching through the centre of the eastern continent.

Origins

Sunmarcher refugees form the main historical population. Soleraen later disappears as a spoken standard; @Common and Duchian dominate administration.

Transport

Solerae's elongated geography makes it the unavoidable hub of continental rail. Passenger and freight routes between Duchia, Krasnarus, Maritimia, Larolar and the east converge on its stations and depots.

Dependency

Although formally sovereign, its resources, railway system and major industries are controlled heavily by Duchian capital and policy. This makes Solerae a practical Duchian puppet.

Omega period

Delta and Omega inherit the same transport network. @Operation Gauntlet uses the routes once secured for liberation to suppress dissent and maintain internal control.
